We started Tyler Farm in 2009 with just gardening. Ten years later we bought our first 6 chickens. That darn chicken math got to us and now we're up to 74 chickens; a few of our roosters helped with that ;). In 2022 we added turkeys to the farm, and we sold the eggs.
In the summer of 2023, we bought 2 ewes and a ram. These are Olde English "Babydoll" Southdown Sheep. This miniature breed is one of the oldest of the English breeds of sheep, originating on the South Down hills of Sussex County, England. They arrived in the United States in 1803 and have become popular pets due to their smiling faces.
