CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Central Montgomery County, PA:
Two Miles Micro-Farm is a family-owned, Certified Naturally Grown, "permaculture" farm, conveniently located in Upper Gwynedd Twp.. Montgomery County, PA. We are offering a limited number of shares in our 2013 CSA (Spring/Summer) Season. For information and details, email: twomilesfarm at gmail.com
We utilize Permaculture techniques to grow (organically AND sustainably) heirloom variety 'gourmet' salad greens/mixes, heirloom tomatoes & peppers, nutrient dense micro-greens; and 'unusual' & "under-appreciated" vegetables and herbs, including: sun chokes, good king Henry, young nettle shoots, heirloom radishes, edible flowers, wheat grass and a variety of other healthy vegetables, medicinal and culinary herbs -- including a few foods in danger of extinction (Slow Foods 'Ark of Taste') and some tasty, "locally foraged" items as well. We grow mushrooms & have (some great!) honey from our small apiary. We offer members ADD-ON items (as available) to supplement CSA boxes. Add-ons are not included in share prices, but are items we may get from other, local farms & artisans who use sustainable practices and adhere to our ethical values.
