Luna Roo Farm raises registered Tunis sheep for wool, meat, and breeding stock. Our farm has achieved certified status in the SFCP (Scrapie Flock Certification Program) and we maintain a closed flock to ensure optimal animal health. We practice pasture rotation and species rotation through numerous small paddocks to minimize the need for deworming while maximizing forage production. In addition to sheep, we have donkeys and horses that drive, ride, and pack. They assist in keeping the pastures clean for the sheep and in producing manure for composting. Pot bellied pigs also help in the pasture and in compost production. We offer raw fleeces, processed roving, lamb, and breeding stock when available. Felting lessons or clinics may also be arranged.

Meat & Poultry

Tunis sheep are one of the oldest breeds of livestock developed in America. Almost lost to extinction, they have made a comeback with the help of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy and now enjoy growing numbers.Tunis have a lovely cream-colored, medium grade wool great for hand-spinning and felting. They produce quality meat with a mild flavor.
