Grandiose Heirlooms

Grandiose Heirlooms is a small, family-owned farm that specializes in growing organic, heirloom vegetables because we believe these are the tastiest and healthiest foods to feed our family and our neighbors. We are in our second year of offering our products in the local community.  We provide heirloom plants, fresh-picked vegetables, fresh cut herbs, dried herbs and peppers, pickled peppers, along with lye soap, fresh cut flowers and baked goods at The Market at Georgetown Optimists, 8260 SR-64, Georgetown, IN, every Friday from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. We plan to have a farm stand operational for the 2026 season.

The 2025 CSA subscription season has come to a close, and in spite of very challenging weather, was successful.  We grew more than just tasty produce; we grew in experience; thus, we will be putting some new plans into action next year.  I hope you will consider joining us.

NEW FOR 2026:  We will continue to offer 12-week CSA Subscriptions for the 2026 season, and we are also offering 1 working share at no charge. The work schedule will be flexible as long as 2 hours of farm labor are completed during each week of scheduled pickups. In 2026, we will divide the 12-week CSA Season into three 4-week harvest sessions:  The first 4 weeks session will begin mid to late May and run through mid-late June; the second 4 weeks session will begin mid-late July and run through mid-late August; and the third 4 weeks session will begin mid-late September and end mid-late October.  This should take advantage of the peaks of spring, summer and fall harvests during the growing season,  and it will allow all of us some planned vacation time and time to focus on farming.

The 3 drop-off locations for 2026 are (1) at the Georgetown Farmer's Market on Fridays, or (2) here at the farm in Georgetown, IN, and (3) in Louisville, KY, near the airport [day and time TBA]. Subscribers will receive a cooler each week during the harvest sessions, which will contain organically-grown, seasonal vegetables for a total of 12 weeks. The total cost of a share is $240, which includes a $120.00 deposit to join. The remaining balance of $120 may be paid in $10 weekly increments at pickup or by paying the balance no later than August 15th.
