The choices we make, from what to grow to how we farm, are influenced by the ability to help us achieve our goal of minimizing our environmental impact while making organic farming an economically sustainable trade that enriches our local food economy.
We grow a large assortment of classic vegetables with our main emphasis in the following crops; spring greens, turnips, carrots, beets, brassicas ? broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, potatoes, onions, peppers, tomatoes, winter squash, and melons.
We operate two CSA programs; one in the summer and the other in the fall. Our CSA programs are fully customizable; meaning members can add items into their box or remove them, they can also put their share on hold. Our summer CSA operates 20-weeks from the second week in June to the fourth week in October, traditionally our summer CSA has only run 18-weeks and 2024 marks the first year of this change.
The Winter CSA is a new program that will start in November of 2024 and consists of four, deliveries and will end in December. All produce in the boxes is produced and packaged by Harlequin Produce. In addition members can add larger preserving quantities of produce to their boxes called ?add-ons? or they can add more to their box by ?customizing up? from the default contents.
