We grow unusual and heirloom varieties in addition to the usual favorites. No GMO ever, and actually very few hybrids. This is a 'hands on' type of operation, and if connecting with the earth and getting your hands dirty is not for you, then this CSA is not for you. Children are welcome to come and help and learn where their food comes from. All the shares require atleast a few hours of work on the farm. Everyone seems to have a good time all working together. I do things a bit differently. What is ripe on your pick-up day is all picked and laid out for you to select what you would like to take home. I figure you should not have to take eggplant (or whatever) home if you don't like it to begin with.
